The micro:bit is a mini-computer that can do amazing things! Block- or text-based programs can be downloaded and transferred to the physical device, allowing learners to see their digital projects come to life via hardware!

In this workshop, learners will program and design a piece of wearable technology that counts their steps, while exploring coding concepts like input, output, loops, and variables.

The workshop includes a learner manual that allows students to work at their own pace with the option of following the facilitator, following a written tutorial, or reverse engineering the project independently or in small groups!
